Jonathan Frank is the Senior Principal at Bay Design who opened the architecture and engineering firm in 1984.   He has forty-four years of experience as an architect and has worked on a broad scope of project types and sizes.  Over the years, Mr. Frank has mentored many architect interns working at Bay Design to help them become registered architects of Virginia.  He has also educated students of architecture at Hampton University, teaching them professional skills and knowledge required to work within the profession after graduation.  As the leader of Bay Design’s accomplished team, Mr. Frank encourages collaboration to create effective architectural solutions that support the client’s vision and budget.


MOTI MARZIANO, AIA, NCARB

Moti Marziano is Bay Design’s Director of Architecture who joined the company when he relocated to the United States from Israel in 2003.  His education and professional experience from both countries gives him a strong technical background in construction documents in addition to a creative approach to design.  Mr. Marziano is also skilled at producing photorealistic conceptual renderings and graphic design.  He has an extensive portfolio that spans from private residential homes to large commercial projects.  In addition to expressing his creativity through architecture, he is a talented artist who works in the medium of oil paint on canvas in a surrealist style.

Corrie Machado is the newest Project Manager at Bay Design, who began work with the firm in February 2016.  She started her career in the field of interior design and decided to pursue architecture after several years of experience designing for healthcare facilities.  Ms. Machado enjoys working on technically challenging projects that require thorough attention to equipment and space planning.  Her design experience also includes the construction of luxury waterfront homes, hotel & restaurant hospitality projects, community buildings and retail properties.  Ms. Machado strives to provide her clients with projects that are detailed to create a cohesive architectural language expressed on the exterior and interior design.
